Sweetland Cakery is not responsible for any damage to the cake/order caused by guests, caterers, or any other person not employed by Sweetland Cakery. In case your order is not delivered due to the fault of Sweetland Cakery, we will only be liable for refunding up to the full amount of the order already paid and nothing else.
The client is responsible for making sure all non-edible cake decorations are removed before serving, such as ribbons, gum paste pieces, sugar flowers, and fondant pieces that contain support materials like toothpicks or food safe wire for strength and overall look.
Sweetland Cakery products may contain or come in contact with common food allergens, such as milk, eggs, soy, wheat, and peanuts. Reasonable precautions will be taken in the case of known allergies, but it remains the responsibility of the client to inform their guests of possible allergen issues. Sweetland Cakery is not responsible for any allergic reactions.
Payments
Sweetland Cakery requires at least a 50% deposit on all orders which is non-refundable. Your order won’t be confirmed until the deposit is received. Final payments for all orders are due 4 weeks before the event date. If the order is placed within 4 weeks of the event date, then 100% of the order is required before the order is confirmed.
We will send an email or attempt to reach you by phone. If payment is not received by the deadline and we don’t hear back from client, the order will be considered cancelled.
