Sweetland Cakery is not responsible for any damages to the cake/order caused by guest, caterer or any other person not employed by Sweetland Cakery. In case your cake is not delivered due to an accident, Sweetland Cakery will only be liable for refunding the full amount of the cake back to the client and nothing else.
The client is responsible for making sure all non-edible cake decor is removed before serving, such as ribbons, gum paste pieces, sugar flowers and fondant pieces that contain support materials like toothpicks or food safe wire for strength and overall look.
Sweetland Cakery products may contain or come in contact with common food allergies, such as milk, eggs, soy, wheat and peanuts. Precautions will be taken in the case of known allergies, but it remains the responsibility of the client to inform their guests. Sweetland Cakery is not responsible for any allergic reactions.
Sweetland Cakery requires 50% deposit on all orders which is non-refundable. Your order won’t be confirmed until deposit is received. Final wedding payments and orders placed by companies are due 3 weeks before the event date. We will send an email and try to call you. If payment is not received by the deadline and we don’t hear back from client, the order will be considered cancelled.
The following conditions are implemented when an order is cancelled:
More than 50 days, 100% refund.
30-50 days, 50% refund.
Less than 30 days, no refund.
